Siliguri, 06th November: Transgenders gave Bhai Phonta to Sarugara Ranger Sanjay Dutta and other renowned men, on Saturday, praying for their long life and prosperity. The programme was organized in Baribhasa.
Trans woman Sonali Devi said, “I am very happy after celebrating Bhai Phonta today”.
On the other hand, Ranger Sanjay Dutta said that they are members of our family. All gender rules were broken as one applied the ‘phonta’ on the other.
