Kalimpong, 13th January: The Melli Police, during a Naka Checking last night, stopped and searched a vehicle that was travelling from Siliguri towards Sikkim. Upon searching, 19-year-old Sahil Subedi of Sikkim and 23-year-old Sagar Magar of Kalimpong’s Chandralok area were detained. 38 files of banned tablets were recovered from the duo’s possession.
In this context, Melli Check Post Police IC Deepak Thapa further informed that the two accused were present before the court today and were sent to 6 days police remand.
