Siliguri, 12th March: On Thursday, the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) President Anit Thapa paid a visit to the Melli gun violence victim, Puran Magar, at Siliguri’s private hospital.
Thapa took stock of the victim’s current health condition and also shared a conversation with Magar as well as the doctor tending him. Thapa further assured Magar of providing him with every assistance needed.
GJM Organizational Secretary Rishika Chhetri was also present along with Anit Thapa during the visit. Talking to reporters after meeting the victim and his family, GTA Chairman Thapa informed that the condition of the patient was stable.
It is to recall that Puran Magar and Pemba Tamang were injured after they were shot by Kunal Pradhan, Ward No. 1 Councillor of Kalimpong Municipality, following a dispute over a railway project in Melli on March 10.
