Siliguri, 28th December: The residents of Siliguri are concerned due to the shortage of drinking water in various wards. To solve the water problem, Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb and Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar held a meeting with the Mayor’s Council and officers of all departments in the corporation. Important discussions were held on the water problem solution in the said meeting.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar said that today, a meeting was held with the mayor’s councils to solve the drinking water crisis. Another meeting with officials of other departments will be held in the coming days. He added that Siliguri Municipal Corporation is giving its best efforts to eradicate the water crisis and soon the residents of the city will get rid of the water crisis.
