Alipurduar, 14th January: A meeting was held at Dooars Kanya, the administrative building in Alipurduar district, regarding the Uttar Banga Utsav. The Additional District Magistrate Anukul Sarkar, the Sabhadipati of the Alipurduar District Council Sheela Das Sarkar, Alipurduar MLA Saurabh Chakraborty, Alipurduar District Primary School Parliament Chairman Anup Chakraborty and many other officers of the district administration were present.
In this context, the Alipurduar MLA Saurabh Chakraborty stated that the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, will inaugurate the Uttar Banga Utsav in Siliguri, on January 20th, and the Utsav will commence in Alipurduar’s Rabindra Bhavan and Falakata. The Uttar Banga Utsav will last for two days.
