Siliguri, 04th August: A car was badly damaged after a road accident near ISKCON More under Bhakti Nagar Police Station area late Monday night. Four people travelling in the car were injured in the incident
According to information, the accident took place when the vehicle was travelling from ISKCON More towards Checkpost. At that time, another vehicle coming from the opposite direction at high speed collided with the car and fled from the spot
After receiving information, Bhakti Nagar Police reached the spot and took the damaged vehicle into custody and brought it to the police station. The injured persons were sent to a nearby hospital for primary treatment
Police are now examining CCTV footage to identify and trace the absconding vehicle. The investigation into the incident is underway
