Siliguri, 31st January: Mayor Goutam Deb held a meeting at Siliguri Municipal Corporation regarding child labor and child safety. Police administration, school teachers, government office officials, and members of various social organizations were present in the said meeting held on Tuesday. The meeting discussed various schemes to prevent child labor and for child safety were discussed.
In this regard, Mayor Goutam Deb said that a new committee has been formed regarding child safety. Today there was a discussion with the committee. In the first phase street, children and impoverished children will be identified. After that, efforts will be made to educate them in society.
