Siliguri, 06th February: Siliguri Municipal Corporation has commenced the renovation work of the Kanchenjunga Stadium. Along with Siliguri’s renowned stadium, the Vikas Ghosh Memorial Swimming Pool will also be getting a new and renovated look.
Regarding this, today Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb held a meeting with SJDA and PWD officials in the meeting hall of Kangchenjunga Stadium. It is reported that PWD officials are examining various aspects of the stadium and according to his report, various tasks will be completed.
The mayor has spoken to PWD minister Pulak Saha in this regard. The mayor said that the work of the stadium and the swimming pool would be completed with the help of PWD.
