Siliguri, 04th July: The Matigara Police raided a godown on Saturday night and recovered artificial fertilizers. One person, identified as Sashi Roy has been arrested in the incident.
According to police sources, the police received information that a fake fertilizer business was being carried out at a godown in Tripalijote under Matigara police station. Upon receiving this information, the police launched an operation and recovered 2500 kgs of fake fertilizers.
According to sources, many people are involved in this business. They make fake fertilizers in the name of a renowned company. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
The arrested individual was produced at the Siliguri court today.
