Siliguri, 01st October: A team of Matigara police station arrested three members of the motorbike thieves gang from Katihar in Bihar. The arrested have been identified as Vikash Yadav, Suraj Yadav and Raju Yadav.
According to police sources, one of the accused, Guddu, was arrested by the Matigara police in connection to a bike theft case. He was produced in the court and was taken on remand for seven days. During interrogation, the accused Guddu revealed the names of some more members of the gang.
Based on the information, the police initiated an investigation and arrested the said three members of the gang from Bihar. The trio will be produced in the Siliguri court today, where an appeal for 14 days police remand will be made for further investigation.
