Massive fire guts five houses in Siliguri’s Burdwan Road area

Siliguri, 15th May: A devastating fire broke out in the Burdwan Road area of Siliguri on Thursday night, damaging five houses completely.

According to reports, the blaze spread rapidly after the fire erupted, prompting locals to alert the fire department immediately. Three fire engines were rushed to the spot, and firefighters managed to bring the situation under control after intense efforts.

Despite the quick response, all five houses were extensively damaged in the incident.

Preliminary findings by the fire department suggest that the fire may have been triggered by a short circuit. Meanwhile, both the fire department and police have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
