Massive crowd gathers in ‘Bhorer Alo’ of Gajoldoba on New Year’s Eve

Gajoldoba, 31st December: On the occasion of New Year’s Eve, a huge crowd of tourists was seen gathered in “Bhorer Alo” of Gajoldoba to celebrate the day. Tourists from far and wide arrived at the destination with their family and friends and gathered on the Gajoldoba Bridge, which is constructed as a replica of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.


According to reports, tourists from Siliguri, Jalpaiguri and even from various parts of North Bengal have arrived at the location on this day. It is to be noted that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had inaugurated the bridge few days ago.

The local eateries of Gajoldoba serve a variety of food items during the other seasons of the year. Significantly, during the picnic season, they prepare a separate menu for the tourists.
