Siliguri, 01st December: Free health check-up camp, voluntary blood donation camp, and diabetes check-up camp were organized by Marwari Yuva Mancha Siliguri Branch and Uday Branch, on Wednesday. The camp was organized at Surtaram Nakipuria Bhawan in Ward No. 08 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
The city is currently under severe blood crisis especially due to the dengue outbreak. The camp was organized to meet the blood shortage. The collected blood will be sent to Siliguri Terai Lions Blood bank.
Adarsh Kandui, a member of Marwari Yuva Manch, said that dengue is on the rise in Siliguri. A blood donation camp has been organized keeping this in mind.
