Siliguri, 10th November: Pradhan Nagar Police recovered a blood-soaked body of a man found hanging from the noose under a building adjacent to Biswadeep Cinema Hall in Siliguri. The incident created a stir in the entire area. The deceased has been identified as Praveen Pradhan, a resident of Kulipara, Ward No. 01.
Reportedly, the locals spotted the body hanging at the building’s staircase this morning and informed the police. The police reached the spot shortly after, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.
Police are reviewing the area’s CCTV footage. An investigation has been initiated into whether the event was a case of suicide or murder.
