Siliguri, 10th November: A man has been arrested by Army Intelligence and Bagdogra police from Bhujiapani area of Bagdogra for allegedly duping people by posing as an Army personnel. The accused has been identified as Bikash Chhetri.
According to the information, Bikash allegedly used to dupe people under the pretext of providing them jobs posing as army personnel. The accused had been running this racket for the past 5 years. Many fake documents have also been recovered from his possession. Apparently, the army and the police were looking for the accused for a long time.
According to sources, the accused reached Bagdogra area this afternoon and the police and Army Intelligence were tipped. Acting promptly, a team of officers conducted a joint operation and arrested the said accused. An intensive interrogation will be done to gather every piece of information from the accused.
