Man missing since Vishwakarma Puja in Siliguri, distressed family awaits reunion

Siliguri, 24th September: A shocking incident surfaced where a young man from Siliguri has gone missing since the day of Vishwakarma Puja. The missing person named Ashish Adhikari (32) alias Chottu is a resident of the area adjacent to Haider Para fish market in Ward No. 39 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC).


According to information, Ashish is professionally an auto-rickshaw driver and was last witnessed wearing a white Punjabi attire. Earlier, Ashish left his house on the day of Vishwakarma puja and did not return home. Despite contacting his friends and relatives, his location remained unknown. Subsequently, his family filed a missing complaint at the Bhaktinagar police station. At present, the police are endeavoring to locate the missing man.

Meanwhile, Ashish’s father claimed that his son had arrived home from the auto-rickshaw owner’s residence on the day of Puja. However, later, he left the home without informing anybody.
