Dalkhola, 14th October: Sensation prevailed after a 45-year-old man identified as Jabul Rahman was killed by his brother after a conflict broke out between the two. The incident surfaced from the Manatli area of Ward No. 13 under Dalkhola police station area.
According to the family of the deceased, Jabul’s brother attacked him with a shovel during a conflict over land cutting. Allegedly, he suffered severe injuries on his head and chest causing his death on the spot.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, the police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for an autopsy. However, the accused brother and a few others involved in the matter have been absconding since the incident.
An investigation has been launched into the matter.
