Rajganj, 03rd November: Sensation prevailed after the body of a person was found hanging from a noose in the Totaigachh area of Rajganj block, on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Birendra Roy.
It has been learned that Birendra Roy worked as a temporary employee at the BSNL office in Rajganj. The family members sighted his lifeless body hanging from a noose on Wednesday early morning and informed the police. The police reached the spot shortly after and recovered the body.
Sanjit Roy, brother of the deceased, said that his elder brother was mentally depressed as he was deprived of his salary for a long time.
Rajganj police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
