Kharibari, 02nd February: One person died after coming in contact with the overhead wire of a train at Simultala near Kharibari’s Panitanki area. The deceased has been identified as Vishnu Barman (35). He was a resident of Manasa Jote.
According to local sources, the locals found the body lying on the side of the railway tracks this morning. The police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
