Malda, 04th April: The entire nation is under a 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Despite repeated reminders to stay home and not to loiter unnecessarily, there have been complaints of people gathering at various corners around the Malda district and deliberately violating the lockdown.
In this regard, the Malda Traffic police, under the leadership of OC Tarun Saha launched operations near the Malda Medical College- Hospital and various areas surrounding NH-31 on Saturday morning and took strict action against the violators.
