Siliguri, 17th March: 7 shops and 2 warehouses were completely charred after a fire broke out near Jalpai More, on Wednesday morning. Valuables worth lakhs were destroyed in the incident.
According to local sources, the fire initially broke out behind the warehouse and the blaze eventually spread to nearby hotels, salons, garages, and other shops. Upon receiving the news, 4 fire engines reached the spot and extinguished the fire after an hour effort.
