Siliguri, June 25th: In response to a request from the State Mahila Trinamool Congress, the Mahila Trinamool Congress of Siliguri, in collaboration with the Mahila Trinamool Congress of Darjeeling District, organized a voluntary blood donation camp called ‘Tarpan’.
According to reports, the blood donation camp commenced today at Gate No. 10 of the Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium. TMC party workers and supporters came forward to donate blood. The primary focus of the camp was to cater to patients suffering from anemia due to dengue. The donated blood will be provided to the blood bank at the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
Present at the event were Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Alok Chakraborty from the Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress (TMC), Mili Sinha from the Darjeeling District Trinamool Mahila Congress, Papiya Ghosh President of Darjeeling District TMC, Sushmita Dutta from the State Mahila Trinamool Congress, and other officials. Their presence showcased their support and commitment to the cause.
