Rajganj, 08th September: Lover fled away just before their wedding leaving his girlfriend. The girl was seen crying in distress sitting on the road.
Reportedly, two and a half years ago a young woman from Salbari got into a relationship with a young man from Sitai. Both of them left their houses about 15 days ago and decided to get married. The couple was living in a rented house and today they had gone to register their marriage.
It is alleged that the lover fled after leaving the girl in Fulbari. On coming to know her lover’s deception the girl started crying on the road. Upon seeing the girl crying in distress, the locals reached the spot shortly after which they informed the police of the New Jalpaiguri Police station. The police reached the spot and took the girl to the police station.
