Siliguri, 09th May: The COVID-19 crisis has put several musicians of Siliguri deeper into poverty as the nationwide lockdown has suspended all cultural programmes and events.
Utpal Dey, a table player and a resident of Siliguri Deshbandhupara, stated that he has no source of income ever since the lockdown has been imposed and is living under severe crisis. Running out of money and with very little saving, Dey desperately sought help from the Chief Minister.
