Siliguri, 23rd January: Locals gheraoed the Bagdogra police station last night demanding immediate arrest of drug peddlers to protect the youth from drug addiction.
Locals pressed the police administration to take stern steps to get the youths out of the morass of drugs and arrest all involved in drug trafficking. Locals complained that the police is not doing anything in this regard, which eventually forced them to siege the police station. Meanwhile, the administration assured the locals that strict action will be taken in this matter soon.
