Cooch Behar, 07th July: Panic triggered among the residents of Saheb Colony area of Booth No. 8/130 under Guriahati Zone-I, after two live explosives were recovered in front of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker’s house, named Milan Sutradhar.
According to reports, Sutradhar found two live bombs lying outside his house this morning. Subsequently, he informed the police about the matter. Upon receiving the news, the police of Cooch Behar’s Kotwali police station promptly reached the spot and retrieved the bombs.
In this context, the locals alleged that the police arrived late and claimed that they will not cast their vote without the deployment of central forces in the area.
