Lions International organizes picnic for underprivileged children on Netaji’s birth anniversary in Siliguri

Siliguri, 23rd January: Lions International District 322F organized a picnic to bring joy to underprivileged children. Today, on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, several programs were organized including a picnic with about two hundred children in a private park in Dagapur.


Arrangements were made for the children from breakfast to mid-day meals. Apart from this, school bags and other items were also provided to the children. At the same time, wheelchairs were also provided to two differently-abled children.

In this regard, District Governor of Lions International Hemant Kumar Agarwal said that Lions International is committed to serving the people throughout the year. The said program is organized only to bring happiness and joy to the lives of indigent children. He further stated that children will enjoy eating and drinking throughout the day. Apart from this, two needy children have been given wheelchairs.
