Lions Club of Naxalbari organizes eye check-up camp at police station

Naxalbari, 27th February: The Lions Club of Naxalbari, in collaboration with the Naxalbari Police Station of Darjeeling District Police, organized an eye check-up camp on Thursday at the police station premises. A total of 40 people underwent eye examinations during the camp.


Lions President Kaushik Acharya, along with Narendra Prasad, Prahlad Kumar Biswas, Debprasad Bhowmik, Nimalya Biswas, Banwari Lal Maheshwari, Vijay Agarwal, Raj Kumar Modi, Pawan Agarwal, and others, were present at the event.

Kaushik Acharya stated that the eye check-up camp is held at Naxalbari Police Station on the last Thursday of every month, providing common people with the opportunity to have their eyes examined. If cataract issues are detected, patients are referred to the hospital for further check-ups. He also announced that a mega camp will be organized in April.
