Leopard recovered from Garganda Tea Garden of Alipurduar District

Alipurduar, 08th April: A leopard was trapped in a cage planted by the forest department in the GargandaTea Garden of Madarihat block under the Alipurduar district.


According to sources, the workers sighted the said leopard trapped in the cage in Section-16 of the Garganda Tea Garden, on Wednesday morning.

According to sources, on Wednesday morning, the tea garden workers found the leopard trapped in the cage in Section No. 16 of the garden. The Lankapara Range Forest Department immediately recovered the leopard upon receiving the news and took it to South Khairbari. Meanwhile, a crowd of people gathered to see the wild animal.
