Alipurduar, 09th May: A tragic incident surfaced where a leopard died after being hit by a speeding vehicle late on Wednesday night. The incident occurred as the animal was attempting to cross the main road in the Madarihat area.
After the incident, forest personnel of the Jaldapara Wildlife Division arrived at the spot and sent the carcass to Jaldapara for a post-mortem examination.
