Naxalbari, 17th October: Land rights was distributed among the landless people in Lower Bagdogra Gram Panchayat under Naxalbari block today. On the occasion, Naxalbari BDO Bapi Dhar, Panchayat Samiti’s Chief Amar Sinha and other officials marked their presence.
In this context, Sinha said that the landless people of Lower Bagdogra Gram Panchayat were deeply troubled by the lease of land for the last several days. Keeping this in mind, they were handed over the lease today after the tireless efforts of the concerned authority. He further informed that 18 people of Lower Bagdogra have been given the land rights.
