Siliguri, 02nd June: Ahead of World Environment Day, the Kurseong Forest Division and Ghoshpukur Forest Department organized an awareness program aimed at promoting environmental consciousness. On Friday, the Ghoshpukur Forest Department of the Kurseong Division led an awareness rally, accompanied by a cleanliness drive. The program saw the participation of various welfare organizations, including Ghoshpukur Gram Panchayat, Traffic Police, Ghoshpukur Police, and Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha.
Ranger Sonam Bhutia from the Ghoshpukur Forest Department emphasized the pressing need for environmental change and a shift in our lifestyles. As a result, the awareness program was organized to educate and engage individuals in understanding the importance of environmental preservation.
