Kidnap-murder case Siliguri: Accused’s bike recovered from Dhupguri

Siliguri, 18th December: The accused murderer who committed the brutal murder of a 12-year-old minor student in Siliguri after her abduction is still at large. At the same time, 11 days after the incident, Pradhan Nagar police station has got success in the investigation. Police recovered the bike of the accused Manoj Roy from the residence of one of his relatives in Dhupguri last night.


 

Reportedly, after receiving a tip-off ACP Manish Yadav of Siliguri Metropolitan Police and a team of IC of Pradhan Nagar police station seized the bike of kidnapper Manoj Roy by conducting an operation in Dhupguri. After receiving the information from a mobile location and tip-off, the police discovered that the accused Manoj Roy is hiding in Andhra Pradesh. Based on this, a team of police has left for Andhra Pradesh.


 

It is to be noted that on December 5, a 12-year-old 6th-grade student from the Dakshin Palash area was abducted by Manoj Roy, son-in-law of a neighbour. On December 13, eight days after the abduction, the body of the girl student was recovered from the Sukna tea garden. Even after 11 days after the incident, the accused is at large and is absconding.
