Kharibari, 24th March: Pratigya, a talented footballer from the remote village in Kharibari, has been selected to play in the Delhi Champions League Football. Coming from a family in Naxalbari tea garden, she has had a deep passion for football since childhood.
Her football journey began at Naxalbari’s Rathkhola Football Academy, where she garnered her skills. Over the years, she has won several awards in competitions held in Bihar, Kolkata, Darjeeling, and Kurseong.
According to Pratigya’s father and football coach, Bidyut Das, they have high hopes that she will one day play for the Indian Women’s Football Team.
