Jalpaiguri, 27th October: After Kolkata’s Sree Bhumi Sporting Club prepared a Burj Khalifa theme pandal for their Durga Puja celebrations, another puja mandap is being constructed with a similar theme by Gomosta Para Nabarun Sangha Club in Jalpaiguri for Kali Puja.
In this regard, club secretary Rajesh Mandal said that the Durga Puja pandal of Sree Bhumi Sporting Club in Kolkata was built in the style of Burj Khalifa. In a similar way, they too have adopted such a style this Kali Puja. The height of the pandal has been kept as per the rules of the administration.
The pandal is being constructed through a lighting show under the joint coordination of Siliguri and Kolkata. The budget has been fixed at around 10 lakh rupees. He further said that the pandal construction work is being carried out in full swing and that puja will be organized in compliance with the COVID safety measures.
