Naxalbari, 25th April: The 10th Darjeeling District Kickboxing Championship was held at Dr. Ambedkar Academy, Nepanai Busty, Naxalbari, witnessing participation from 41 schools and colleges across the district.
Three students from Bagdogra Kickboxing Academy represented K.G.T.M College in the event and delivered remarkable performances, earning medals and bringing pride to their institution.
Subata Subba secured the silver medal in the Point Fight category. Pratiksha Rai won two bronze medals – one in the Light Contact category and another in the Kick Light category.
The participants were trained and guided by Coach Kunal Routh, who also served as the referee during the championship.
