Jyoti Rogala leaves for Sikkim from Cooch Behar on a tour of India

Cooch Behar, 27th February: Jyoti Rogala, a resident of Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is on a tour of India, on a bicycle, to spread a message that the women are safe in India. She wants to show the world that the girls in India are safe even when they travel alone and that there is no fear or danger.


Jyoti Rogala arrived at Cooch Behar, on Wednesday evening, after traveling around for 33,000 kilometers on her bicycle. On Thursday morning, she left for Sikkim from Cooch Behar. Jyoti stayed at the house of social worker Deeptesh Sen in Cooch Behar, on Wednesday, from where she left for Sikkim.

DSP Traffic Chandan Das, on behalf of the Cooch Behar District Police, bid farewell to Jyoti Rogala as she left for Sikkim. Jyoti Rogala had left her home in 2017 to tour the entire country on her bicycle. Wherever she goes, she stays at a mosque, gurudwara or the house of a social worker. It has been reported that a huge crowd of people gathered to see her after she reached Cooch Behar, on Wednesday.
