Siliguri, 26th January: The Pradhan Nagar police of Siliguri Metropolitan have arrested one person in connection to the murder of a woman within just 24 hours of the incident. The arrested has been identified as Akash Mahato.
It is to recall, the body of an unidentified woman was found lying in a pool of blood on the roadside just a distance from the Junction traffic point, on Thursday.
Reportedly, the accused was produced in Siliguri court today, where the police sought custody of him to further investigate the case.
