Located in the Maskalaibari area, the residence of cable businessman Ranjan Pal is popularly known as the ‘Brazil House’ and draws attention every World Cup season.
A passionate supporter of the Brazilian football team, Pal said football is not just a sport but an emotion and lifelong passion. He first decorated his house in Brazil’s yellow and green colours in 2011 and has continued the tradition during every World Cup since then.
The house is decorated with Brazil flags, football-themed elements and colourful lights, making it a major attraction in the locality. Locals and visitors often stop to view the decorated home, which has become a popular spot for people of all age groups.
