Jalpaiguri, 05th March: Abhrajyoti Biswas, a temporary professor of the Jalpaiguri ITI college committed suicide. A suicide note was found in his residence.
The other staff members and professors of the college alleged that Biswas committed suicide as he was mentally disturbed from the past few days due to a very low salary package.
