Jalpaiguri municipality takes initiatives to commence road repair work

Jalpaiguri, 04th March: The Jalpaiguri municipality has taken initiatives to repair the dilapidated roads in the city at a cost of 8 crore rupees.

Under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) project, the Jalpaiguri Municipality worked on installing pipes in a total of 25 wards for the past 1.5 years. Such an initiative was taken to provide pure water in Jalpaiguri from the Teesta Canal. However, normalcy was disrupted in all the wards under the municipality during the installation of pipes.
