Siliguri, 18th December: During the ‘Safe Drive Save Live’ program today, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma stated that the Siliguri Metropolitan Police gives full effort in providing justice to people and ensuring road safety.
It has been learned that the Bagdogra Traffic Guard organized an awareness program near the city center traffic point today. With the assistance of Dooars Human Care Society, free eye examination was also arranged for needy people. Commissioner Gaurav Sharma also distributed winter garments among the needy.
Sharma said that the metropolitan police are trying to raise awareness among the people through the ‘Safe Drive Save Live’ campaign. He urged all to obey the traffic rules.
