Siliguri, 24th February: The Income Tax department raided several business establishments as well as the residences of traders in Siliguri, on Thursday morning.
The officials of the IT Department raided a building in Nayabazar today due to ambiguity in transaction and tax matters. Following this, the traders started crowding the area. Later, Siliguri police reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
