Islampur, 23rd November: The traffic unit of Islampur Police Station as well as other police officials paid their last respects to the late civic volunteer Sanat Mandal who died in a road accident.
It is to be noted that the 28-year old civic volunteer, got severely injured in a motorcycle accident while he was on his way home on Saturday. He was rushed to the Islampur Sub-Divisional Hospital in a critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
Islampur Traffic OC Shamik Chakraborty, Mohammad Jahangir, and other police officers paid their last respects to Late Sanat Mandal.
Islampur police district superintendent of police Sachin Makkar said that some assistance has been provided to the family of the deceased on behalf of the police. He further assured to stand by their side and provide all possible help as per the government rules.
