IRCTC new tour package for South India brings budget-friendly deals to travellers

Siliguri, 12th January: IRCTC has brought some good news with their new announcement giving a golden opportunity to the ones who are looking forward to traveling to South India. For a budget of a few thousand rupees, one can travel for 11 days to various places in South India.


On March 15, ‘Swadesh Darshan Tourism Train’ is being started by IRCTC to travel to South India. Today IRCTC officials have informed about this by holding a press conference in Siliguri. The Swadesh Darshan special tourism train will leave from Katihar station on March 15. There are three packages for the said trip. Out of which the sleeper class fare will cost Rs 20,900 per person. The cost of the AC-3 tier is Rs 34,500 per person, and the cost of the AC-2 tier is Rs 43,000 per person. The said tour of 11 days and 10 nights will include a trip to places like Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, and Madurai Mallikarjuna.

Not only this, the tour package includes three meals a day, and hotel expenses and can be booked from the IRCTC website. To make it more easily accessible to people living in nearby areas of Kathiar including Siliguri they will be taken to the Kathiar station by a bus or train from where they can board Swadesh Darshan special tourism train and enjoy the tour package.
