Raiganj, 17th March: The North Bengal State Transport Corporation (NBSTC) management has taken a special initiative to prevent the coronavirus. The bus workers of Raiganj in North Dinajpur district sprayed insecticide on the buses of the NBSTC Depot premises. An insecticide spray made of disinfectant, phenyl, and, bleaching powder was sprayed outside and inside of the bus, today.
Sumit Bhowmik, an official of the organization, stated that the step was taken as per the instructions provided by the State Government. Keeping in view the safety of passengers and employees, the insecticide is being sprayed. Mask and other necessary arrangements will also be made for the bus workers. Bhowmik further stated that their main goal was to be alert to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This initiative from the management has been appreciated by the employees of the organization and the travelers.
