Siliguri, 6th January: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police launched a campaign and arrested two people on the charge of carrying out illegal oil trade. The accused have been identified as Hiren Barman and Asit Saha.
According to sources, for a long time, both of them used to steal oil from the tanker of trains parked at the NJP station and sold it. The Police have recovered several liters of oil from their residences. Both the accused have been produced at the Jalpaiguri court on Monday.
