Siliguri, 29th October: NJP police arrested the prime accused of the illegal call centre running in Siliguri. The arrested accused has been identified as Amar Mahato.
On Wednesday, NJP police raided an illegal call centre on Kathaltala Road in Shaktigarh, Siliguri, and arrested six girls. A laptop, documents, and several mobile phones were recovered from the spot. They were sent to the court yesterday. Following this, the police launched investigations and arrested the main accused Amar Mahato from the Porajhar area in Kumarganj.
He was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Friday. Police are investigating the whole incident.
