IILS to help Naxalbari’s Shampa with her higher education

Siliguri, 02nd August: Shampa Barman, a resident of the Naxalbari Kotiyajote area, made the entire citizens of Siliguri proud by scoring an impressive 430 marks out of 500 in her Higher Secondary examinations 2020.


As per the information, Shampa wants to study law in the future. However, her family members are worried concerning her higher education due to their poor financial condition.

In view of this, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS) extended their helping hand towards Shampa.


Sanjay Bhattacharya, the registrar of the college, stated that IILS institute will take the entire responsibility of Shampa’s higher education for the next 5 years. Besides, the college authorities have assured her to stand by her side in case of any difficulty.
