Huge Python rescued in Ward no. 46, Siliguri

Siliguri, 05th June: Sensation prevailed after a 5 feet long python was rescued in Samar Nagar’s Dakshin Palas area under ward no 46 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC).


Reportedly, the locals rescued the python from the streets yesterday. Numerous people also gathered in the area to get a glimpse of the python. Amidst the chaos, Sukna Forest Department and the snake rescuers were informed.

Meanwhile, after receiving the news, snake rescuer namely Ravi Roy reached the spot and rescued the python, and handed it over to the Sukna Forest Department.


According to sources, the python has been released into the woods.
